Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Sir John Murray KCB, FRS |
Date | 14 January 1908 |
Description | Robert William Frederick Harrison has been looking up the question raised in Sir John Murray's letter just before Christmas in regards to the application by Dr Collet of Geneva for the Challenger report. The application was received very shortly after a batch of recommendations had been sent to the stationary office and has therefore been held until a few more have been received. In the meantime anything that can be said in support of Dr Collet's application will be of assistance to the secretaries. P.s The paper by Mr F A Black has been received but Sir John Murray has not said whether he is willing to act a communicator of the paper to the Society. |
