DescriptionAdverting to Mr Heath's letter on the subject of an application from the Library Committee of Victoria College, Wellington, New Zealand for a grant for the complete set of Challenger publications. In view of the fact that there are already two copies of the Challengers publications in Wellington (at the New Zealand Institute and the Library of the General Assembly) and due to there only being 36 sets remaining in stock, the Royal Society would not advise a third complete set be sent there.
