TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to B S Ingram, The Illustrated London News and Sketch, LTD, 198 Strand, W.C
Date16 January 1908
DescriptionIn reply to an enquiry concerning Paplin's papers , the Royal Society does possess a considerable number of these, though not of the character B S Ingram might expect, doubts whether they have anything that could fairly be called "plans and specifications for a steam engine'. If you wish your artist to look through you must ask formally for permission to consult certain MSS in our archives specifying the purpose for which such copies would be used.
