The enclosed correspondence will be laid before the Council next week.
Members of the Royal Society's Solar Research Committee are requested to minute their opinions for submission to the Council. If members of the Committee consider it necessary to hold a meeting before reporting to the Council, the matter must be held over until the February Council. The attention of the Officers has been drawn to the unfinished obligations undertaken by the Australian Observations.
