TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Mrs Mather, Huntly Hall, Cheadle, Stoke on Trent
Date10 April 1908
Description'Dear Madam,
I have to thank you for your letter of March 29, offering a mezzotint engraving of John Abernethy, published in 1844. I find, however, that we already have in our possession a contemporary engraved portrait of Abernethy, and I do not think therefore that the Society would care to purchase another.'
