Description'Dear Sir,
In reply to your letter of April 27, I find upon enquiry that cards of invitation for the forthcoming Soiree of the Royal Society are recorded as having been sent to you and also to Professor Heaton of your department, As this appears not to have reached you I send a duplicate card enclosed, and I should be glad to know whether Professor Heaton has received the card issued to him.'
