TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Sir Norman Lockyer KCB, FRS
Date20 January 1908
DescriptionConcerning the application from Illustrated London News, Harrison has had a direct application from them but has replied informing that permission to extract from the Archive is best made through a Fellow. Harrison doubts they will find what they expect in the papers they refer to. If Lockyer is disposed to stand as sponsor he should send a postcard to Harrison and send word to Illustrated London News. The printers have received a requisition from the Board of Education for 200 separate copies of Lockyer's paper "On the presence of sulphur in some of the hotter stars", Harrison assumes these copies are meant for Lockyer's use and asks him to request the copies and Harrison will send the bill.
