Description'Dear Dr Forster,
The Council yesterday had your letter of March 20th before them and agreed to Professor Meldola's and Mr Pickering's obituary notices of Sir William Perkin and Professor Warington being utilised by the Chemical Society. At the same time the Secretaries proposed, and the Council agreed to, a general system of cooperation with other societies in the preparation of obituary notices of deceased Fellows.'
