Description'Dear Sir,
With reference to the paper by Drs Glynn and Yorke on "Variations in the phagocytic power of leucocytes from different individuals", communicated by your to the Royal Society, I have to inform you that reports unfavourable to the publication of the paper by the Society have been received from two referees. Under these circumstances it is suggested by the Chairman of the Physiology Sectional Committee that you may wish to withdraw the paper, and I shall be glad if you will let me know whether you are willing to adopt this suggestion.'
