TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to H [Henry] J [John] Elwes, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date9 May 1908
Description'Dear Sir,
In reply to your letter of yesterday, I have made enquiries with regard to the frame used in connection with your exhibit of Butterflies at a Soiree some years ago, and our porter tells me that the frame was a temporary structure made by a carpenter for the purpose of your exhibit. I can find no trace of it here and I think it probable that the frame was taken to pieces after the Soiree and the material removed by the carpenter. I am sorry I am unable to help you further in this matter.'
