DescriptionColonel Bruce has laid before the Tropical Diseases Committee of the Royal Society Mr Antrobus' letter to him of the 4th instant (No15387/1908). Harrison discusses the laboratory and accommodation, the start date of the Officers who are to proceed to Uganda, and the site selected at Chague. Mr Antrobus' letter states that the officers lent by the Army will be placed at the disposal of the Colonial Department. It will be understood however that all that relates to the scientific conduct of the investigation will be under the immediate supervision and direction of the Tropical Diseases Committee of the Royal Society, which they will directly report.
