I received your letter of the 13th instant for which I am obliged but I have not yet heard anything from your head office with regard to the question I laid before you as to the [issue] over the gate in the Quadrangle, and in the meantime I have as yet to open it. I should therefore be much obliged if you could expedite a communication from the head officer on the subject.'
