TitleCopy Letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Hilton Carter
Date28 May 1908
DescriptionIt would be impossible for Harrison to go to the Albert Hall this afternoon, but he has seen it on the occasion of the last Soiree of the Civil Engineers, with the floor over the stall, and was much impressed with the suitability for a large reception. At present there is no inclination - except on Harrison's part - to hold the Royal Society's Soiree anywhere but their own rooms, but he would be glad to know for future reference what it costs to take the Albert Hall for an evening.
