TitleCopy Letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to J [John] H [Hilton] Grace, Fellow of the Royal Society, Peterhouse, Cambridge
Date1 June 1908
Description'Dear Sir,
Your letter of May 29, enclosing a cheque for £13, which was addressed to the Treasurer personally, was forwarded to him and he has sent it back to me. As stated in Statute I, Chapter 3, the entrance fee of Fellows is now paid out of the Fee Reduction Fund. The amount due from you is therefore £3 and not £13, and I return your cheque for the substitution of the smaller amount. If you would be good enough to make the cheque payable to the Royal Society (crossed Robarts Lubbock & Co) it will expedite its payment into the bank.'
