DescriptionApplication for the grant of Royal Society publications for the Northampton Institute has been considered. The Royal Society are compelled by want of funds to restrict the issue of gratuitous copies and are in consequence unable to accede to the application. Letter directs to point out that the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society are on sale at moderate prices and that the Proceedings of the Royal Society may be subscribed for in advance at the low rate of 15/- per volume for series A and 20/- per volume for series B.
