TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Alfred Cort Haddon, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date19 June 1908
DescriptionThere is some difficulty in extending an invitation for the Soiree to Mr Gomme on account of his official position. In his capacity as Clerk to the London County Council he is on the official list of invitations to the May Soiree, but not the June. These lists are put together very carefully by the Soiree Committee, and when there has been a private intervention by a Fellow, guests are not unnaturally inclined to regard this as a precedent. Asks whether he desires to press his request in these circumstances.
