TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor [Arthur Henry] Reginald Buller, Kingsfield, King's Heath, Birmingham, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date29 June 1908
DescriptionBuller should have received no intimation of the decision on Council regarding his paper. The Council contacted Professor [John Bretland] Farmer, who communicated it, and told him it was upholding the decision of the Botany Committee, and since Buller had expressed unwillingness to accept that decision, he was free to withdraw it, as it had not been read. It is usual for the communicator of the paper to report the decision to the author, and Geikie much regrets that he was not informed directly. The paper shall be send to him, and he is sorry that this is the end result.
