| Description | Messrs Annan & Sons have now sent back the negative of the portrait of Sir Michael Foster which they were good enough to lend for the purpose of preparing the illustration to Dr Gaskell's obituary notice. The negative appears to be unharmed. Thanks him for the loan, and his request for half a dozen copies of the reproduction has been noted, and they will be sent to him when they are ready. |
