TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr [James Hartley] Ashworth, [Fellow of the Royal Society], Zoological Department, University of Edinburgh
Date7 October 1908
DescriptionIn response to Ashworth's letter of 5 October, Geikie can only repeated what he said in his letter of 30 September. Council settled that £40 should be allocated for his plates. In view of other papers and the increasing cost of publications, this was all which could be expended. If he is not content for the work to be placed in the hands of Mr Huth, then he will have to find the funds to pay Messrs Winter and Werner, if he so wishes.
