TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to [Messrs Harrison & Sons]
Date20 October 1908
DescriptionIn regard to their explanation of the matter of the plates for 'Philsophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', they should have telephoned immediately that they were delivered imperfect. They say they undertook to correct and deliver the plates without delay. The concern or not of a delay lies with the Royal Society, and they should have been apprised of what corrections were being carried out. The corrections should also have been complete. The plates went out with the space for the volume number left blank. 30/- will be demurred to their charge. Half this would be ample.
