TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Micaiah John Muller, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date20 October 1908
DescriptionThe only decision of the Mathematics Sectional Committee in the direction that Hill indicates in his letter of 17 October, is with reference to a particular paper by Karl Pearson on 'Mathematical Contributions to the Theory of Evolution', Part XI', and is contained in the minute of the Committee of 12 June 1902. The Council then resolved to pass the paper over for 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', but recommended that the work on pure mathematical theory of statistics should be separated as far as possible.
