TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Sidney Harris Cox Martin, Fellow of the Royal Society, Chairman of the Physiology Sectional Committee.
Date26 October 1908
DescriptionThe reports of Dr [Frederick Gowland] Hopkins and Dr Charles James Martin on the paper by Sir Thomas Fraser and Dr J A Gunn 'On the Action of the Venom of Sepedon haemachates of South Africa' have been received.

Hopkins is against publication. He states that it is an exhaustive study, but it does not add to current knowledge about snake poisons. Martin states that the paper is more suited to 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', but considers it should be reduced in length. Asks the Chairman what further action should be taken.
