TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Heinrich Ritter von Srbik, University of Vienna
Date28 October 1908
DescriptionHarrison is unable to give him any information concerning William von Schroder which Srbik does not already possess. There is no indication of any manuscript or records in the archives. The particulars in Birch's History are taken directly from the journal books. There is a printed catalogue of manuscript letters of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, but Schroder's name does not occur in the list. The only thing that can be traced is a paper of his dated 1662 and indexed 'How to increase Salpeter'. There is also a paper under Schoter, the subject being 'Foils for Precious Stones as practised in Norimberg'. Harrison is sorry he cannot give him any further biographical details.
