TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Captain R Muirhead Collins, Representative of the Commonwealth of Australia, 72 Victoria Street, S.W.
Date30 October 1908
DescriptionIn response to Collins' letter referring to a proposed scientific expedition to Papua, and asking for an opinion, Geikie is desired to say such an expedition might furnish valuable information in regard to Tropical Diseases and should be encouraged. The Tropical Diseases Committee of the Royal Society is not in a position to take any part of it, but the Colonial Office has an Advisory Board on Tropical Diseases and it might be well if he put himself in contact with them.
