TitleCopy letter from Oliver & Boyd to, Sir Archibald Geikie, Secretary of the Royal Society
Date29 October 1908
DescriptionRegarding Panoramic Views of "The National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904", which has been returned to Messrs Eyre & Spottiswoode. Informs Geikie of the extra expense incurred in this work. Most of the portfolios were finished, sealed and ready to be sent, when this had to be undone and the views put up into smaller parcels, each containing ten sets, the remaining copies, which had not been gathered into sets, the whole number being packed into five larger cases.

The cost amounts to £3-10/-, and the additional cost on their return depends on how Eyre & Spottiswoode sends them. The amount should roughly be £3-10/-.

To complete the Album of 750 copies, four plates of the Adélie penguins at Cape Adare, one plate of Mount Melbourne, four plates of Mount Erebus from the SSW and three plates of Earth Shadows, are required.
