DescriptionAs far as Geikie can remember he has have never before heard of any bacteriological work by the staff of "Discovery". If there was it would probably be in the hands of the biological members of the staff. This side of the Antarctic investigations was undertaken by the trustee of the British Museum, under the immediate supervision of the late Sir Ray Lankester. Captain Scott shows an continued determination to push things into further action.
