TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie to Dr [Charles] Chree
Date13 November 1908
DescriptionOn the 30th Ult[imo] Geikie was summoned to Scotland by the serious (and ultimately fatal) illness of his youngest sister. He is now back to his duties but hopes that explains his non-acknowledgement of Chree's letters of October 1, November 5 and November 10. Geikie is obliged to Chree for the Material received and will see it gets into the hands of the engravers. Chree will be furnished with duplicate proofs, as he requested.
