I am desired by The President, Sir Archibald Geikie, to enquire whether your office would transmit for the Royal Society certain volumes of the publications of the recent National Antarctic Expedition, which the Society is presenting to certain Universities and Societies in Australia. I enclose a list of the addresses.
The volumes would be properly packed and addressed and delivered to your officer, if you could undertake the dispatch.'
