DescriptionThe Council have made the following appointments to the Governing body of the National Physical Laboratory: To the General Board - Professor Bottomley, Admiral Field (Hydrographer), Sir Arthur Rücker, and Professor Schuster in the room of Professor Adams, Professor Gray, Professor Hicks and Admiral Jackson.To the Executive Committee - Mr David Howard (reappointed for special reasons), and Sir Arthur Rücker in the room of Professor Callendar.
The nominations to the General Board by the Technical Societies had not been received when Council met; buy the Institution of Electrical Engineers have since notified their nomination of Mr Alexander Siemens to take the place of My Kaye Gray.'
