Description'Dear Sir,
With reference to an interview some weeks ago on the subject of the pictures belonging to the Royal Society, I shall be glad to know whether you are now in a position to spare the time to inspect and report upon their condition.
If my recollection is correct, you stated that your fee for a report upon the collection of pictures would be £5. 5. 0, subject to reduction to one half, in the event of pictures being placed in your hands for restoration.'
