TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Sir David Gill, KCB, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date13 January 1909
Description'Dear Sir David,
Dr Larmor has asked me to reply for him to your letter just received.
The grant of £150 from the Donation Fund towards the cost of the great African Arc of Meridian will be at the disposal of the Colonial Office so soon as the Royal Society learn from your Committee that the completion of the work is assured. I cheque can then be drawn, but I should be glad in the meantime to know to whom it should be made payable and forwarded. Will it be to the Crown Agents?'
