The original drawings (6 in number) ullustrating Mr G W Smith's paper on ' The habits and structure if the anaspididae' which recently appeared in the Proceedings [ of the Royal Society], B, Vol. 80, p465, are in the possession of the Royal Society. Blocks have been prepared from these drawings, and are now in our printers' hands. Although these original blocks cannot, I am afraid, be allowed out of our possession, electros of any of them can be prepared and supplied for your use at a very few days notice, and at a trifling cost to you, if you wish to reproduce any of the figures in the Cambridge National History.' |
