DescriptionField's letter to Professor Larmor of the 6th instant has been referred to Geikie. The type of the Antarctic volume of physical observations part II is still standing and the Royal Society can either have copies of the magnetic northerns printed off and supplied to Field, or can have 20 copies of the published volume for the use of the hydrographic department. Geikie asks which Field would prefer.
