Description'Dear Sir,
In reply to your letter of January 26, applications for aid from the Publication Grant are by regulation considered only at the meetings of the Council held in January and July. I am sorry to have to inform you that your letter, making application for a grant in aid of the illustrations to Dr Fowler's paper, arrived several days too late to be considered at the meeting of the Council last month.
Unless I hear from you to the contrary, your application will be placed before the Council at their meeting in July.'
