TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Sir Oliver [Joseph] Lodge, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date13 February 1909
Description'Dear Sir Oliver Lodge,
The figures that are missing are the sixteen photographs which were contained in the small portfolio. According to a note made when they were received the photographs in question were not very good practice, and were hardly suitable subjects for direct reproduction; and perhaps, if they are available, the negatives from which the prints were made would be more useful for our engravers to work from. I am very sorry that you should be caused so much trouble, but I have not had any further word of your missing figures.'
