Description'Paper by Prof H A Miles, FRS [Fellow of the Royal Society], and Miss F Issac "On the spontaneous crystallisation of monochloracetic acid and its mixtures with naphthalene".
The above paper, which was referred by the Sectional Committee to two Fellows for consideration, has now been reported upon. Both referee -(Prof W J Pope, and Dr Tutton) - are of opinion that the paper should be printed in full in the Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society] without any modifications and Prof Larmor, acting on their report, is prepared to [concur] with the chairman - authorize the publication of the paper under Standing Order 43. Will the Chairman please say whether he concurs in the publication being proceeded with?'
