DescriptionLarmor discusses the funding of the expenses of the enquiry by a Committee of the Society into Glassworkers' Cataract. The operations of the Committee have been held up due to a delay in assurance that expenses would be defrayed out of Government funds and therefore the progress is it its preliminary stages. Larmor asks that the Secretary of State could arrange to hold over the sum authorized by the Treasury in reserve to be drawn upon as required.
