TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to General Sir Henry Ponsonby
Date22 December 1890
DescriptionThe Society's cabinet, besides medals struck in honour of various distinguished Fellows of the Society, contains copies of all the medals awarded by the Society from their own trust funds; Copley, Rumford, Davy and Darwin. However, they have no copy of the Royal Medal. They would esteem it a favour if Ponsonby will ask Her Majesty if they can have a bronze copy of the Royal Medal made at the Society's own charge.
