TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor John Milne, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date5 January 1891
DescriptionRix notes that Milne wishes to receive section B as well as section A of the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' and will forward volumes for 1887-1889 inclusive. The 'Phil. Trans.' are too large for book post and there is no parcel post to Japan. The Society has not hitherto paid for carriage of the 'Phil. Trans.' to fellows beyond the Postal Union but if Milne lets them know what the carriage totals they will consider the matter. The mistake in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' is due to the printer and Rix will get it corrected.
