TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster
Date22 March 1890
DescriptionProfessor Jeffery Parker has sent no abstract and Rix wonders if William Kitchen Parker will write one. Rix discusses setting a date for the Soirée sub Committee to meet and proposes 26 March. If this is not suitable he suggests telegraphing the summons and holding the meeting on Tuesday before the Lanes Committee. Foster's letter to Treasury has brought the money [for the 'Challenger' reports] but with a gentle hint that the Royal Society must send some future communication assuring them that the work is completed.
