TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Shelford Bidwell, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date 2 April 1890
DescriptionRix much regrets the accident that has happened with Dr Silvanus [Phillips] Thompson's certificate. The clerk feels sure he noticed the omission and added it in the press copy and is going to the printers to see if this was not the case. All this does not make the omission less vexing. The only thing they can do now is to inform the Council when they meet to discuss the candidates claims and to ask them to correct their copies.
