TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Archibald Geikie, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date28 April 1890
DescriptionRix supposes Geikie has the matter of the Montpellier University in charge. He seeds from Dr [Michael] Foster's notes that it was left to the President to nominate a delegate but he thinks the President will need to be reminded. There is also a minute that the Foreign Secretary was directed to reply in suitable terms to an invitation from the Société Impériale Minéralogique à St. Pétersbourg. Rix encloses the letter concerning which the minute was passed [not attached].
