TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Right Honourable Lord Thurlow, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date24 June 1890
DescriptionThe Secretaries brought Lord Thurlow's application on behalf of the Liverpool Athenaeum before the Library Committee at their last meeting. Unfortunately the Committee cannot recommend the Council to grant the application as it appears the institution issues no publications with which an exchange might be initiated. The Athenaeum can however purchase the volumes 1880-1884 at one third the published price through a Fellow. The cost would be £9-2-8 nett.
