TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir Ernest Clarke, Secretary of the Royal Agricultural Society
Date8 July 1890
DescriptionRix thanks Clarke for the new number of the journal containing the communication from the Lawes Agricultural Trust Committee, which has been placed in the library. He wonders if Clarke could spare an additional copy for the Law Trust Committee whose gradually accumulating collection is distinct from the Royal Society. Rix encloses herewith a list of the names and addressed of the members of the Committee [not attached]. Rix has not has an opportunity to bring up the proposal that the Royal Agricultural Society be placed upon the list of Institutions entitled to receive the publication of the Society before the Library Committee. He forsees no problem however and has today sent orders to the printer to send the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' as issued, and will see that back issues of the current volume are sent on.
