TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Victor Alexander Haden Horsley
Date11 July 1890
DescriptionRix notes that Horsley's record regarding the publication does not agree with the Royal Society's, he provides details and asks Horsley to look into the matter.

Rix wonders if spare copies of the first proofs of plates serve Horsley's purpose. Rix cannot give Horsley copies of revised plates as they cannot be printed off till the text comes but he can probably find copies of the first proofs. The orang [orangutan] paper is not back from the referees. At the last meeting of Council leave was given to Horsley to make a copy for publication of Dr Wooldridge's Croonian lecture 'On the Co-agulation of the Blood'.
