DescriptionAdverting to the Secretary's letter of 13 November 1889, the fossil skull of Thylacopardus was carefully packed in the presence of two witnesses yesterday and sent by parcel-post for dispatch by the next mail leaving England on 6 February. In accordance with the Secretary's request no attempt has been made to repair the fossil but it has been returned in the condition in which it arrived. A small packet of soft paper containing the fragments of the fossil which were found among the packing was placed in the same box above the skull.
