TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr John Evans, Nash Mills
Date16 September 1890
DescriptionRix has just returned from his holidays refreshed but he finds James absent with illness and no trace of the petty cash in James' charge. Rix has written for this but has nothing to pay Saturday's wages with. Rix can pay the wages himself but asks Evans to call next time he is in town to sign several cheques. Rix also requires instructions about Mrs Mallet's case and will send Long's mortgages to Messrs Few this afternoon. He is sorry to learn Mrs Evans is ill and trusts for better news when Evans calls.
