DescriptionThe Council of the Royal Society have had under consideration the disposal of various parcels of manuscripts in their possession and have resolved that the following be offered to the India Office; the manuscript of the meteorological and tidal observations at Akyab, Kyvok, Phoo, Corniga and Coconada River, Cochin, and Balasore; and tidal observations at Singapore, 1843-1845. The Council are advised that the Akyab and Cochin Tidal Observations in recent years have been treated by Harmonic Analysis and the results published annually, and it is though that the remaining observations might be useful to the office for similar treatment.
