DescriptionThe President has handed Rix a letter from E G Allen of 28 Henrietta Street enclosing a memorandum from the Toronto University Librarian dated 24 July in which he states that non of the Royal Society's publications have reached him. Besides several cases of miscellaneous literature the Royal Society sent the following; 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' 1830-1890, 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' volumes 16-46, Fort Rae Observations, Krakatoa Report, Dr Robert Lendlmayer von Lendenfeld's Monograph of Horny Sponges, catalogue of the library, and the catalogue of portraits. All these were packed and removed by the Committee's men and the Royal Society would be glad to know what has become of them.
