TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Allan Wyon
Date15 November 1890
DescriptionThe proof of the Darwin medal is satisfactory and Rix asks that Wyon send the dies at once to the Royal Mint. A letter has today been dispatch to the Mint asking to have the medal struck there. An inscription will be engraved around the edge and Foster has sent the Deputy Master a copy of the inscription for Alfred Russel Wallace. The medal which Wyon has been good enough to present to the Society came safely to hand.
